Having problems with digestion can also bring on the ailment as the stomach produces too much acid so your body cannot absorb nutrients that you need.

Many people find that reducing your intake of certain foods such as sugar, milk. processed foods and meats that are high in fat and also drinking up to 8 glasses of water a day will help keep the acne under control. Reducing your intake of foods high in iodine will also reduce your acne.
Acne affects lots of people and unfortunately there is no known cure for it but cutting down on the above drinks and foods, using good basic hygiene and a good acne scar cure will keep it under control.
You may also want to try over the counter remedies. There are many creams and lotions available and trial and error maybe needed to find a good effective lotion for your skin. All skins types are different so a lotion that works for one person may well not work for another.

Good post. I think it is so incredible that sticking to a healthy diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats and fish. Help to fight acne. That at the same time the ‘typical American diet” of high fat, highly processed foods, sugar, soda, etc…actually promote acne. Back when I had acne, you had just a couple choices to red yourselves of that plight. I also thought it was interesting that milk was a major contributor also. I wonder if that is just cow’s milk, or all dairy. Because I have read that goat’s milk is good for the skin.
Thank you for this post, I learned alot.
